North America is rather large – an entire continent to be exact. It includes both The United States and Canada. It would be possible to spend a lifetime of vacations just exploring these two amazing countries. So where to begin? Find out with my North America travel blog posts.
Let’s start with the United States. I have travelled around the USA quite a bit and actually lived there for four years when I was a teenager (alas some time ago!).

The stunning Yosemite Valley
Head to California and read about October in Yosemite or just One Day in Yosemite if that is all the time you have. Yosemite can be visited on a long day trip from San Francisco.
San Francisco is not far from California wine country and fantastic places like Livermore as well as the gorgeous Solage Spa.

Staying on the west coast check out my posts on Sunsets in Sedona and Sunsets in Seattle – as well as how to have fun in Las Vegas without gambling.
On the East Coast read all about Baltimore – its top attractions, a great Baltimore boutique hotel, where to get a great coffee in Baltimore and how to eat your way around Baltimore.

Philadelphia isn’t far away from Baltimore – read about the best food tours to take in Philadelphia as well as the best things to do in Philadelphia.
And don’t miss my post on the best things to do in Lower Manhattan.

Let’s head north to Canada – home to some amazing Landmarks.
The capital of Canada Ottawa is a lot more fun than a capital city should be. They have a fantastic food scene which you can enjoy in the restaurants of Byward Market and through some of the great tours available in Ottawa. And don’t miss my complete post on the best things to do in and around Ottawa.

Lovely Nova Scotia has so much going on. Its capital Halifax has loads of fun things to do, the oldest farmer’s market in North America and the top tourist attraction in Atlantic Canada the Halifax Harbour Hopper.

Lovely Wolfville is home to some fantastic wineries and a great farmer’s market. And Lunenburg has my vote for the cutest ever UNESCO city. Use my Nova Scotia Itinerary to help plan your trip.
