Changwon also hosts Korea’s largest and most well-known cherry blossom festival. Every spring, the Jinhae Gunhangje Festival takes place over a span of 10-days.
Another major draw for tourists is the annual Gyeongju Cherry Blossom Festival. It’s based along one of the city’s colourful streets.
The trees are a bit different from the ones found in the rest of the country. Due to the island’s special climate, the area produces king cherry trees.
Seoul boasts numerous areas where you can see the trees display their annual elegant shades of pink and white.
Each year the city hosts the annual Gyeongpo Cherry Blossom Festival. It takes place at the Gyeongpodae Pavilion.
